Welcome to Carson Town Talk. Carson is the Gorge’s soaking town — folks have been coming up the Wind River valley to sit in the hot mineral water at Carson Hot Springs for well over a century. Around the springs it’s tall timber, the Wind River running cold and clear, and the quiet of the national forest right at the edge of town. People arrive wound tight and leave moving slower. That’s the Carson effect.
This is Carson’s front porch. Hot springs stories, fishing tales, forest memories — all welcome. Pull up a chair and say hello below.
